We are excited to share the upcoming school year with you. We have a wonderful group of teachers and staff that serve our community with care and a commitment to excellence. We strive to provide a positive learning environment where students feel safe and empowered to reach their full potential. Our middle school is home to approximately 500 students in grades 7 and 8. We currently operate on a block schedule where students learn in 5 daily classes. To go along with English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, we have a diverse variety of related arts courses. These related arts courses include Agriculture, Art, Band, Choir, Health, Planning for College and Career, Physical Education, and Weight Training. All students also take a Social/Emotional Learning course that focuses on handling emotions appropriately, creating positive relationships, and character development. Our mantra for the year is "Don't wish for it, Work for it." It is vital to begin to build positive habits in our formative years. Being intentional with our goals and working hard to achieve our goals is vital for our future success. We believe that all of our students have a special purpose, and we work diligently to help our students cultivate skills and acquire relevant knowledge as they find their unique purpose. As we navigate these challenging times together, we will always strive to build on a foundation of hard work and maximum effort as students equip themselves for success both now and in the next phases of their lives.
